Our MBIZI Family Code
Since MBIZI is so much more to us than just a vacation home, we've formulated what we affectionately call our MBIZI Family Code.
It's not a list of strict rules, but rather a shared understanding of how we treat this house, the surrounding nature, and each other—with mindfulness, respect, and appreciation.
We warmly invite you to take a moment before your arrival to read our code and confirm that you feel connected to this spirit during your stay.
1.
We appreciate nature
We enjoy the wild horses, the birds, and the unique landscape – and leave everything as we found it. We respect the animals in their wildness, do not touch them, and do not make unnecessary noise that could disturb the tranquility of the lagoon.
2.
We treat the house with care.
Everything here is lovingly furnished. We treat the furniture, furnishings, and garden as if they were our own home – and we'll let you know if something breaks or doesn't work. So that the next family member can also feel completely at home.
3.
We pay attention to a relaxed atmosphere.
We know that this is not a holiday resort and that most of the neighbors live here permanently. Therefore, we celebrate quietly, do not play loud music outside in the evening, and respect the privacy of others.
4.
We appreciate hospitality.
A bottle of wine and a small souvenir await us as a welcome gift – we'll honestly note down any additional bottles. We'll gladly take our souvenir with us, but leave everything else in the house to delight the next guests as well.
5.
We are good neighbors
Since there are often horses on the roads, we drive slowly (max. 20 km/h), keep the property and nature clean, and ensure that our guests also respect this beautiful atmosphere.
Please help us to uphold the MBIZI Family Code!
We look forward to your stay at MBIZI lagoon house 💙
Your brief confirmation helps us to maintain MBIZI as the peaceful, respectful and special place that our guests appreciate so much.
