Thank you for the wonderful opportunity to stay at Mbizi. Our time there was truly memorable. The house is both beautiful and comfortable, and we enjoyed every moment. You have thought of every detail — the beds and bedding are exceptionally comfortable, and it’s clear that everything was chosen with great care. All the appliances work perfectly, and nothing was lacking.
The view is beyond description; it genuinely touches the soul. There is a rare sense of peace that comes from being there. The pool was such a treat, and we had endless fun as a family. In the evenings we lit the gas fire and simply soaked in the spectacular scenery.
Waking up on Sunday morning to the horses right in front of the house was magical. Our children spent hours playing outside in the wide-open space — soccer, tennis, cricket — truly any parent’s dream.
I sincerely hope all future guests at Mbizi will enjoy the same incredible experience we had.

Traumhafter Aufenthalt
Unser Aufenthalt im Mbizi war traumhaft! Das Haus ist wirklich einmalig gelegen an einer Lagune und am Meer. Jeden Tag sieht man die Wildpferde.
Es gibt einen indoor und Outdoor Braai / Grill was es auch an unserem ersten Tag bei Regen zu einem tollen Dinner Abend machte. Der Pool ist klasse und es gibt in der Anlage sogar noch einen größeren Pool zur allgemeinen Nutzung. Die Besitzer sind super freundlich und kümmern sich toll.
Das Haus und die Ausstattung hatte ein paar kleine Mängel diese wurden aber gut kommuniziert. Die Betten sind sehr weich und der Master bedroom hat ein offenes Bad (nur als Hinweis für andere Gäste). Es wurde sogar ein babychair für uns zur Miete zur Verfügung gestellt.
Wir empfehlen das Haus auf jeden Fall weiter. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Everything you could wish for
Everything you could wish for in a beach house: super comfortable (inside and outside), stunning views, wild horses, birdlife, walks + lots to do close by (vineyards, restaurants, Kogelberg for hikes, Hermanus etc).
We were with 5 friends and couldn’t believe our luck, thanks for having us!

Breathtaking ocean views
We as a family would give this property 10 stars if it was allowed. We recently had the pleasure of staying at Mbizi Lagoon House, and our experience was truly beyond expectation!
From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the meticulous attention to detail in every corner of the house. The location was absolutely serene, offering breathtaking ocean views and picturesque sunsets every evening.
We loved watching the sun dip over the ocean and the Bot River mouth. Overall, it was a perfect getaway, and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for a tranquil retreat. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
