Robert is a true veteran in the Western Cape when it comes to pool renovations. And even though finding the right materials and colors together was sometimes a bit tricky at the beginning, he guided us through everything with patience, openness, and professionalism. He and his team were always the first ones on the job site in the morning – and certainly not the first to leave. Since 1987, Africarve in Port Edward has been creating impressive, custom-made wooden doors and furniture where traditional craftsmanship meets modern design. Each piece is crafted from carefully selected hardwoods—from kiaat and African mahogany to rosewood—and hand-carved by skilled artisans.
For our project—the Lagoon House—Duane developed a completely bespoke solution that perfectly matched our style and requirements. He was an exceptionally pleasant contact person, always communicated openly and reliably, and he and his team did a fantastic job.

ECO FURNITURE
Eco Furniture Design combines local craftsmanship in the Cape Town region with eco-conscious materials and timeless design. Every piece of furniture – from solid oak, ash, or pine tables to custom seating – is crafted with great care to unite beauty, function, and environmental responsibility.
We not only developed the beds for our guest rooms with Eco Furniture, but also many other pieces of furniture that we find beautiful every day – including, for example, the side tables. But we would like to highlight something very special: Although TV lift furniture isn't part of Eco Furniture's standard range, we planned and designed a completely new furniture concept together, which Eco Furniture then built.
We were impressed that the team was willing to accommodate this individual request – it demonstrates the dedication and passion with which they work. We would like to express our sincere gratitude once again. We wholeheartedly recommend Eco Furniture and the entire team.
