After landing in Cape Town (CPT), only a beautiful drive separates you from your holiday at MBIZI Lagoon House. The journey takes about 1.5 hours and leads you past mountains, vineyards, and coastal scenery – the perfect prelude to your stay with us.

Route:

• Start from the airport and follow the N2 towards Somerset West.
• Stay on the N2 and drive over Sir Lowry’s Pass – on a clear day, you'll have a fantastic view over False Bay.
• Continue through Grabouw (known for its apple orchards) and towards Bot River.
• At Bot River, follow the signs towards Fisherhaven and turn towards the lagoon/nature reserve.
• The last few kilometers take you along quiet roads right to the doorstep of MBIZI Lagoon House.

Tips for the drive

• Rental cars: You'll find many international providers at Cape Town Airport – booking online in advance will save you time.
• Gas stations: There are several well-equipped gas stations along the N2, some with small restaurants and shops.
• Photo stops: Plan a few extra minutes – the view at Sir Lowry’s Pass is breathtaking.
